Scott M. Corrigan – Managing Director

Scott is an 18 year veteran of the commercial real estate industry with over 12 years specializing in hospitality finance, hotel valuation, tax appeal, and brokerage. In January 2009 Scott formed Hospitality Financing Solutions, Inc. (HFS). The company has become nationally recognized for its debt placement specialization of limited-service and select-service hospitality assets. Recently the company has participated in an array of finance panels including AAHOA, NAGGL, Urban Land Institute, Choice Hotels Conference, U.S. Hotel’s Atlanta Summit, U.S. Hotel’s Washington Summit, and the Hotel, Motel, Restaurant Show of the Southeast. For the first quarter 2012 HFS closed on five transactions with an additional 19 transactions in origination, credit, and closing. The company closed 13 transactions in 2011, 16 transactions in 2010, and four transactions in 2009. Since its inception the company has completed transactions in 13 states.

Scott previously held both Senior Account Executive and Relationship Manager Positions with GE Capital’s Real Estate Hospitality Group. During his tenure with GE Capital Scott was awarded with over 27 sales performance awards and recognitions. Mr. Corrigan annually led the hotel specialty division of GE’s Small Business Finance with over $300 million in funded loans over a five-year span.

Prior to his successful years at GE Scott worked with Keystone Consulting Group focusing on hospitality appraisal, brokerage, and tax appeal. Scott’s expertise lies in limited- and select-service property types ranging from $2MM and $15MM in value.

Mr. Corrigan holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill as well as a Masters Degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
